ReadExpress picks up an interesting nugget:
If you’ve walked by the newspaper distribution boxes at the 19th Street NW entrance to the Dupont Circle Metrorail station recently, you’ve likely seen that the BID, which has authority over the newspaper distribution point, has put on notice a number a publications that haven’t filled their boxes in quite some time. They have until Friday to contact BID officials or else the Golden Triangle BID will assume they are no longer interested in keeping their boxes’ spots. Those who received the warning include the Miami Herald, Baltimore Sun, USA Today Sports Weekly, the Senior Beacon and Super Pennysaver. It’s all part of a reassessment of newspaper distribution needs at the Dupont Circle station.
