When Kanye West declared that he was going to run for president in 2020, most people laughed it off as Kanye being Kanye. Barry Blitt and The New Yorker, however, have much more faith.

“When one considers Mr. West, it doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to be reminded of another scrappy kid who won the Presidency, back in 1948, against all odds,” explained Blitt. “The press wrote him off, too. That’s right—Harry Truman.”
