New York Times to Charge Less Than $20/Month for Web Access
Bloomberg is reporting that when the tiered paywall for the New York Times gets initiated, it will be a little less than $20 a month. The Kindle price for the Times is currently $19.99 a month, and the print version – you know, that grayish stuff that gets ink all over your hands – is roughly $50 per month.
The plan for the online Times will be to allow readers a set amount of articles that they can read per month, and after that number is reached, those people will have to pay a fee.
