New York Times Magazine Apologizes for Amusing Typo About Obama's Mother

Everyone makes mistakes. Here at FishbowlNY, it’s not our intention to pick on the tiny little errors that are only natural for journalists, particularly bloggers, who are often their own editors, copywriters and photo-shoppers.

But The New York Times has a few more resources than most, so every now and then we’ll call them out over their corrections.

This one, from the Times Magazine, is pretty entertaining (and, as Gawker called it, a Freudian slip?):

An article on Page 30, about President Obama‘s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, misstates the title of the book from which the article is adapted.
