New York Magazine's Wedding Special Gets New Editor
Former Nylon deputy editor Fiorella Valdesolo has been tapped by New York magazine to head up New York Weddings, the twice-yearly specialty pub.
New York Weddings‘ former editor, Denise Penny, who also worked as assistant managing editor of New York, has moved to Peru. Unlike the previous editor, Valdesolo is only contracted to work on the upcoming issue of Weddings, dubbed Winter 2010, which is due on newsstand in October. A New York publicist told us that there are no plans yet for the Summer 2010 issue — but they have some time to work on that.
