New Republic (please, not “The” New Republic) has revamped its website and launched two new editorial features. The updated Newrepublic.com is faster and cleaner. Images and article fonts are larger.
The new editorial items are “Minutes” and “Signal.” Minutes is basically a constantly-updated feed of breaking news.
Signal (pictured, right) is a sharable nugget that summarizes longer articles. In other words, if you want to make your Twitter followers think you read something that you actually did not, Signal is your go-to move.
As you can see, the changes are all with mobile in mind.
