The Huffington Post has spent the past few years expanding beyond its initial political focus; now the fast-growing news property is going back to its roots with the rollout of HuffPost Hill—a daily afternoon e-mail newsletter aimed squarely at Beltway junkies.
HuffPost Hill will blend news and opinion with a heavy dose of D.C. gossip, said officials. For example, besides featuring contributions from the likes of Huffington Post chief White House correspondent Sam Stein and senior Washington correspondent Dan Froomkin, HuffPost Hill will touch on celebrity and politician sightings in and around the capital as well as tips on various fundraisers and TV appearances by political pundits.
