New Details Emerge in Greg Kelly Alleged Rape Case

It’s the “he said-she said” case that has captivated a city. Greg Kelly, son of the NYPD’s commissioner, was accused of rape last week. Kelly hasn’t returned to his anchoring duties on Good Day New York on WNYW/Channel 5 since the bombshell exploded.

There are some new alleged details. Reports say Kelly and the woman (by one account 29, by others 30 years old) had the October 8 tryst at Jeremy’s Ale House located at the South Street Seaport.

Gothamist reports Kelly claims to have flirtatious text messages from the unidentified woman after the encounter, including lines like: “Was it as nice for you?” and “Do you want to do it again?”

The New York Post delves deeper, saying the texts exchanged before and after the alleged rape were explicit in nature.
