New CTO for iVillage

One week after announcing a total site relaunch, iVillage introduced the person who will be in charge of it, naming Tammy Hepps as its new chief technology officer.

Hepps had been vice president of Technology at IAC and Dow Jones’ FiLife.com personal-finance Website. She has also held technology positions with The New York Times and Barnes & Noble.

At the NBC Universal-owned online destination for women, she will lead technology strategy and development of all new applications.

Hepps will report to iVillage Networks executive VP Jodi Kahn, who said:

Tammy has proven, deep experience building world-class technology applications and infrastructure.
