Near-future owners of a brand new shiny Windows Phone 7 smartphone in the U.S. and Canada received a bit of good news directly from Netflix.

Netflix’s blog title is a bit off. “Windows 7 Mobile” is actually “Windows Phone 7.” But, that is more-or-less clarified in the blog’s text. So, buyers of a Windows Phone 7 device in the U.S. can plan to download the free Netflix app and start watching videos right away (assuming they have paid Netflix service, of course).
