Fox Business Network announced the moderators, structure and criteria for its Nov. 10 Republican primary debates taking place at the Milwaukee Theatre in Milwaukee. FBN managing editor of business news Neil Cavuto and global markets editor Maria Bartiromo will moderate, joined by Wall Street Journal editor in chief Gerard Baker.
Despite some attrition, the size of the GOP field necessitates, once again, two debates. FBN reporter Sandra Smith, anchor Trish Regan and WSJ Washington bureau chief Gerald Seib will host the undercard debate, which begins at 6 p.m. ET.
To get a podium spot at the 9 p.m. ET main event, candidates need to average at least 2.5 percent in the four most recent national polls up to and including Nov. 4.
The network has enjoyed audience gains this month; it was up 92 percent in total viewers this month compared to Oct. 2014. The debate is likely to push the network’s numbers up further.
