TellMyGov.com just released a free iPhone app that has all the features available on its namesake website, including chat, forums, messages, and a wall. With the new app, users can have their voices heard where ever they go.
With some of the stuff happening at Capitol Hill, the app arrived just in time. It allows users to upload videos and pictures with the intent to help communicate to their representations about issues that are important to them. Users can also attend functions and share with their group or in the forums. They can chat with other members, see what friends are doing, and voice an outrage or support the news they heard while waiting for their daughter’s piano lesson to end.
In addition to being able to do what most apps can do, TellMyGov app also alerts users when new notifications have occurred, so a comment or call to action is never missed. They can even share a new headline that friends felt were important enough to share.
TellMyGov.com is definitely bipartisan and went live on July 4, 2011. It is a political social network site designed for the American voter without supporting one particular party. But, the platform offers a system for members of any party to voice their opinions as well as post information, videos, and start groups with likeminded individuals.
