NBC Will Share Piers Morgan With CNN, while Ad Age Hires, Plus Other News of the Day

– It has been talked about for weeks, but today it’s becoming almost official. NBC has signed a new deal with Piers Morgan, and NBC Universal Television Entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin confirmed to the Wrap that NBC will share Morgan with CNN. Larry King almost has a replacement, even if, for some reason, CNN doesn’t want to talk about it.

– Sadly, not so weird news about the offbeat-story king, FlahNews. The wire for strange, odd, disgusting and shocking stories has called it quits after 30 years of providing content to radio stations and late-night talk shows. Why? Well the economy and ad dollar, of course. Typical.

– Do you know advertising, love commercials or want to write about Mad Men characters? Well Ad Age is hiring two reporters in Chicago and one in San Francisco. Watch out for those 60’s lines though, I’m not sure Ad Age really wants to hear about it right now.

– This doesn’t really relate to jobs, other than now people can do their jobs as they head into the office, but I’m just really excited about it. New York City is FINALLY adding Wi-fi capability to the subway system. But it also means you can’t escape work while riding the tubes. There’s always a downside.
