NBC Sports Hires 21 USC Students as Summer Olympic Interns
Twenty-one lucky USC Annenberg journalism students will be covering the Olympics for NBC Sports from London and New York. That’s a major boost from the 10 students NBC brought aboard in 2008.
Sixteen students will be stationed in London while the rest will be working from NBC’s New York “30 Rock” headquarters. As one might expect, the students are pretty happy about the job.
“I’m absolutely thrilled, stoked, excited!” undergraduate Sarah Politis said in a release.
USC is one of five schools across the country NBC has partnered with in this endeavor.
