National Geographic Leads National Magazine Awards Finalists
The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) has announced the finalists for the 2013 Ellies, and National Geographic leads the pack with seven nominations. Following up NatGeo is Bon Appétit and New York with six nominations; and GQ and The New Yorker each got five.
Below are the other magazines and digital publications which received multiple nominations:
- Four Nominations: Esquire, Harper’s Magazine, Mother Jones, Texas Monthly
- Three Nominations: The Atlantic, Saveur, Time, Wired
- Two Nominations: Businessweek, Byliner, Golf Digest, Los Angeles, Martha Stewart Living, The New York Times Magazine, Outside, The Paris Review, Real Simple, Scientific American, Slate, Sports Illustrated, W
The Ellies will be given out Thursday, May 2, at the Marriott Marquis.
