National Enquirer Exec Editor Barry Levine Stepping Down

A 17-year run comes to an end.

National Enquirer veteran Barry Levine is leaving the tabloid. Levine has been executive editor of the Enquirer for 17 years.

Levine told the New York Post that “it was time to move on.” He added that he will be taking a short break before looking for new opportunities.

“Barry leaves with the highest respect,” said AMI vp and chief content officer and Enquirer editor in chief Dylan Howard. “He will be missed. We will continue on the legacy of his great reporting.”
