National Enquirer Accepted for Pulitzer Run

The National Enquirer is officially in the running for two Pulitzer Prizes categories. The Pulitzer Board has qualified the self-proclaimed tabloid to compete with mainstream news outlets for journalism’s most prestigious prize.

According to Emily Miller who just broke the story for Huffington Post, the Enquirer has been accepted in two categories: “Investigative Reporting” and “National News Reporting” for breaking the John Edwards scandals.
