National Academy Foundation Seeks Assistant VP of Communications

The National Academy Foundation is looking for a new assistant vice president of communications. You’ll join the nonprofit’s New York headquarters, overseeing a communications team of two.

In this role, you’ll act as a spokesperson for NAF, and be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of communications for the organization. You’ll lead branding efforts and develop strategic communications plans to support NAF’s mission, while engaging educators, corporate leaders, policy makers, donors, alumni and students. Of course, you’ll oversee the production of NAF’s internal and external marketing materials, while monitoring the communications budget, too.

To be considered, you should have at least ten years of progressive communications experience, with at least five years managing and/or directing an organization’s communications efforts, preferably in a national non-profit setting.
