MySpace Resorts To Asking You To Sign In With Facebook and Importing Your Likes

MySpace, that chameleon of a website has settled on becoming an entertainment portal, and with its latest move to tie into Facebook, it’s looking to leverage the strength of Facebook’s social network to upgrade itself into a social entertainment portal.

The new Mashup with Facebook feature allows a MySpace user to connect to Facebook, and MySpace immediately pulls in all the user’s interests and likes data. MySpace then matches your likes to the content that is available within the MySpace network, so if I like The Hives, then MySpace will add “The Hives” to my user stream in MySpace.
