When Newscorp bought MySpace a few months ago, all the kids were, like, that sucks. Because, like, what’s going to happen to the community? (Note to my adult readers: MySpace is a popular website where teens post poems about emo bands and fan-fiction about their breasts.) Well, right before the holidays, MySpace suddenly stopped allowing users to link their MySpace pages to content on YouTube, and of course, everyone was like “Screw Rubert Murdoch.”
But now it’s all better. According to the official YouTube blog the whole thing was a “simple misunderstanding” rather than a totally diabolical power ploy to SILENCE THE KIDS. Whew.
