Murdoch Dismayed At The Sun's Celebrity Coverage
UK Sun editor Rebekah Wade’s meeting before the House of Lords communication committee revealed an interesting morsel about her boss, Rupert Murdoch, and what he thinks about the tabloid’s content. From Guardian Unlimited:
”Appearing before the Lords communications committee, the Sun editor Rebekah Wade listed Murdoch’s dislikes in an attempt to demonstrate that her proprietor did not dictate the editorial agenda on a day-to-day basis.
”’Mr Murdoch is often dismayed about the amount of celebrity coverage in my newspaper, particularly on Big Brother,’ she told peers.
