MTV to Release New TV Show Series Via App First
MTV has released the entire first season of a new series exclusively on its app. The new show is called “Wait ‘Til Next Year,” and all 12 episodes of the new “docu-drama” are available via the MTV app.
The show doesn’t air for another week. The television premiere is Friday, November 1 at 8pm ET. The show is about the world of high school football through the eyes of the players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents.
The move comes as mobile use is on the upward trajectory at MTV.
