  • As for the Times’ “MSNBC is leaning left” piece (which, trust us, is all network types are talking about this morning), we have to note this: If MSNBC doesn’t want to be seen as leftish, why this extensive listing of Democratic credentials for Matthews on its “Hardblogger” site?

      Matthews spent 15 years in politics, working in the White House for four years under President Jimmy Carter as a Presidential speechwriter, as the top aide to Speaker of the House Thomas P.
