More Space for Facebook
When is 150,000 square feet not enough? When you’re Facebook.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, the social-networking site leased 265,000 square feet of office space on Page Mill Road in Palo Alto, Calif., located near the 150,000-square-foot headquarters on California Avenue in Stanford Research Park where it consolidated operations seven months ago.
The new space had been occupied by medical diagnostics company Beckman Coulter, according to the Mercury News.
Spokesman Larry Yu told the Mercury News the company plans to relocate some operations into new offices during the first part of 2010.
