More News Notes: Stephopoulos, Dickerson & Feist
• It’s been a good week for George Stephanopoulos. He was the only TV newser to make GQ‘s “50 Most Powerful People in DC” list, his show “This Week” took second place in the Sunday show ratings, and just now ABC announced Stephanopoulos will be Diane Sawyer’s primary substitute anchor of “World News” come January. He’ll also be with the new anchor on set for all ABC News special events coverage.
• CBS News political analyst and contributor John Dickerson will fill in for Bob Schieffer on Sunday’s “Face the Nation.”
