More Info On Gawker's New Blog
Gawker Media’s currently putting the finishing touches on their newest site — a futurism and sci-fi blog edited by Annalee Newitz (pictured). We’ve been hearing word that the site would launch “soon” (November 15, Silicon Alley Insider) and “any day now” (December 4, Wired.com). However, a source close to the new blog confirmed to FishbowlNY that the site would not be going live this week. A Christmas/New Year’s-skedded launch? Who knows.
Newitz has written for, among other publications, Wired, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, New York, Popular Science, Salon and Nerve.
