Let’s review, shall we?

September 29, 2006: Architecture and Architectural Lighting fold into one publication, Architect.

January 30, 2007: The Architect’s Newspaper adds West Coast edition.

February 9, 2007: L.A. Architect and Balcony Media announces new national publication, FORM. We are so not kidding:

Balcony Media, Inc., publishers of art and architecture books and LA Architect magazine, announces that it will launch a new national trade publication, FORM: pioneering design, in June 2007.

FORM magazine succeeds LA Architect, a successful regional magazine that garnered substantial acclaim in the seven years it was published by Balcony Media. FORM’s audience will be architects and professional designers in urban centers including Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Austin and Miami. FORM will be published bimonthly and available on newsstands nationally through independent and wholesale distributors.

And where once we bemoaned the dearth of architecture publications, we now find ourselves drowning in the plethora.
