Model & Actress Mia Amber Davis Dies From Complications Following Knee Surgery

Mia Amber Davis, best known for her role in the film Road Trip and work as a plus-sized model, died suddenly on Tuesday in Los Angeles. She was 36.

Davis had knee surgery on Monday to correct an old basketball injury. Her husband Michael Yard, who was in New York at the time, spoke to Davis the day she died. According to TMZ.com:

Yard… spoke with Mia Tuesday morning and she sounded normal and in good spirits.
