Mobile Posse Adds Sports with STATS
Mobile Posse, one of those new companies that delivers content and ads to the mobile phone’s idle screen, has inked a deal to offer sports content from STATS LLC.
The agreement gives Mobile Posse real-time scores and news from MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, college football and basketball and NASCAR.
Mobile Posse is a permission-based service that delivers free content to consumers who opt-in to receive promotions and offers in exchange for the content. According to internal surveys of Mobile Posse subscribers, sports ranks fairly high in terms of content they want to receive.
