On-demand mobile marketing platform Mozes has purchased Hurricane Interactive Promotions, which uses mobile phones to promote live concerts. The acquisition of Nashville-based Hurricane helps Mozes expand its presence in the Nashville music scene and broaden its live concert promotion offerings.
Touring artists use Hurricane’s service to power in-venue text-to-screen capabilities, live contents and music content sales. Mozes lets bands, brands and fans create and manage interactive mobile campaigns that are permission-based and spam-free.
“Hurricane brings Mozes incredible expertise with live concert mobile experiences for some of the biggest names in music,” Mozes CEO Dorrian Porter said of the deal. “That expertise combined with our platform further enables Mozes to tie the Web, the cell phone and live events together in a way that is meaningful to music fans and connects them to what they love.”
