The three-day event, called ChimeHack, kicks off with a welcome reception on Thursday evening, in partnership with TEDWomen (their 2013 event takes place across Wednesday and Thursday, and you can take a look at their program here).

Team-building, dinner, API talks and work sessions are scheduled for Friday evening, with work continuing throughout Saturday. The hacking stops at 5pm, and is followed by judging and an award ceremony in the evening.

The aim of the event is to create mobile app solutions that help women and girls around the world, and to celebrate the power of women in tech.
