Mobcast Brings Geo-Social Capabilities to Facebook
Add Mobcast to the list of iPhone apps with geo-social capabilities for Facebook, TechCrunch reports.
Mobcast allows users to sign in via their Facebook IDs, select friends to receive their “mobcasts” and allow those friends to see updates on a map, according to TechCrunch, but the app cannot run on background, meaning it must remain on in order to function.
Jeff Schnitzer, one of the developers behind Mobcast, told TechCrunch:
