Online-video advertising-technology company Mixpo tapped into some Microsoft expertise, adding former Microsoft sales and marketing executive Bill Shaughnessy to its board of directors Monday.
Shaughnessy spent the past 15 years at the software giant, most recently serving as global vice president of sales, marketing and services in the advertiser- and publisher-solutions group. Prior to that, he was general manager of Microsoft’s digital-advertising-solutions business group.
Mixpo says its “mission is to make video display advertising—a more effective display ad—accessible to local advertisers, large or small.”
