Mike Royer: The OG of 'The Con'

If you are not familiar with the name Mike Royer, you are sure to be familiar with his work. A 14 year long Disney staffer, he is responsible for the redesign of Winnie the Pooh in the early 90’s, which since, he tells us, has outsold Mickey Mouse in world wide sales.

Royer, was the first comic book artist to be invited to what was then called The Golden State Comic Con in San Diego in 1970.
