TechCrunch reported the move by Randall, but sister blog Inside Facebook pointed out that according to Randall’s Facebook page, his start date at Snapchat was June 2.

Prior to taking over leadership of Facebook’s PMD program, Randall spent three years as the social network’s VP of marketing solutions for its Western region.

Randall joins another former high-ranking Facebook executive at Snapchat: Chief Operating Officer Emily White, who joined the mobile messaging app last December after serving as director of business operations at Instagram and director of mobile partnerships at Facebook.
