Michelle Slatalla To Pen "Modern Manners" Column; Charlyne Mattox Named Real Simple Staff Food Editor
Some exciting new additions have been announced by Real Simple: Michelle Slatalla is joining the magazine to write a “Modern Manners” column, which will debut with the November issue, and Charlyne Mattox is coming aboard as staff food editor, a position that has her overseeing development of food stories and content across the magazine, website, books, and mobile.
Slatalla has contributed to the The New York Times’ “Thursday Styles,” “Dining” and “Circuits” sections. She has also been a reporter at Newsday, and a columnist at Time, Rosie, Lifetime and Hallmark magazines as well as for the Discovery Channel online. At Real Simple, she will also blog for RealSimple.com.
Mattox previously worked as the associate food editor at Martha Stewart’s Everyday Food. She was senior associate craft editor at Martha Stewart Kids, Martha Stewart Living, and Martha Stewart Weddings.
