Michael Eisner leaves Disney board, continues press embargo
After not-so-happily resigning as Disney CEO last week, Michael Eisner has also left the Disney board of directors several months earlier than expected, presumably to prevent any conflicts of interest with his future projects. But we’ll never really know for sure, because the typically press-friendly Eisner almost completely shunned media coverage of his de-CEOing, and is now doing the same with his de-boarding. Eisner had no comment, Disney spokeswoman Zenia Mucha said.
