Michael Atmore Promoted, Will Now Also Oversee Brand Development For Fairchild Fashion Group

michael_atmore_8.11.10.jpgAs part of his promotion, Michael Atmore will now not only continue on as editorial director for the weekly publication FN (Footwear News), but will also act as director of brand development for Fairchild Fashion Group (which includes WWD, WWD.com, WWD Beauty Biz, FN (Footwear News), FN.com, Menswear, Fairchild Summits, and Fairchild Books).

In his new, dual role, Atmore will oversee extension of the FFG brands across such platforms as television and new trade show venues, as well as being in charge of the development of new products and initiatives for the group.

Before joining FFG and FN, Atmore was founding editorial director and publisher of Footwear Plus. He has also worked as editorial director for a group of retail-based business publications at International Thomson, in addition to serving in top editorial positions at US Business Press and Harcourt Brace.
