Mice Close Washington Post Cafeteria

mice1The Washington Post Director of Administration and Operating Services Jeff Cox yesterday announced to Post staff in a memo that the outlet’s cafeteria has a problem…with mice.

The “evidence” was discovered by DC’s Department of Health on Monday, and today marks the second day of its closing.

The cafeteria will be temporarily closed due to deficiencies found during a routine inspection by the DC Department of Health that occurred yesterday.cafeteria

The noted deficiencies were centered around general cleaning and maintenance issues in the rear area of the kitchen.
