Met Tweaking MoMA?

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is not especially known for mainstream cinema screenings. That sort of thing is what the Met’s competitor, the Museum of Modern Art, is better known for. More surprising was the choice of host for the series: David D’Arcy, a former NPR arts reporter whose coverage of MoMA cost him his job.

D’Arcy is currently suing MoMA, alleging that former chairman Ronald Lauder pressured NPR into terminating his freelance cultural correspondent position after more than 20 years on the job.
