Version 6.0 of Messenger for iOS adds the ability for users to instantly shoot, play, and send 15-second video messages directly via the camera in the app, similar to Snapchat.
Users can also press and hold the like button to send a larger-sized thumbs-up for content they really like.
As for version 5.0 of Messenger for Android, the “What’s New” section of its Google Play listing reads:
- More ways to message: Now it’s easier to send photos, voice messages, and more.
