Jennifer Yingling is joining MediaDC in a new role for both her and organization, as audience development officer. She’ll be responsible for engagement and audience growth across MediaDC’s publications, which include the Washington Examiner, The Weekly Standard, and Red Alert Politics. “This is an amazing opportunity to work with three very talented editorial teams and I look forward to helping to grow the readership and influence of these publications,” she said in a statement.
Yingling will be joining from The Hill, where she has worked for the past two decades, most recently as deputy managing editor and special projects director.
“Jennifer’s extensive background in audience development and content strategy will help drive a new strategic vision across multiple platforms, including website, blogs, mobile, social media networks and print,” said Stephen R. Sparks, MediaDC president and COO, in a statement.
She starts Dec. 1.
