Media Beat: Kelly Cutrone Calls New York Media Scene "Boring"

New York Fashion Week is almost upon us, but you wouldn’t know it from the media’s fixation on Kelly Cutrone’s decision to bring Eliot Spitzer call girl Ashley Dupre to a client’s runway show…in 2009.

“That was a year ago. That’s how boring New York is,” says Cutrone in our latest Media Beat interview. “That’s how boring and uninteresting everybody else in New York City is, that there is nothing else to talk about.”

Never one to mince words, the People’s Revolution founder also gives us her plans for this year’s event and weighs in on the latest ethical concern rocking the PR world: is it wrong to offer bloggers a finding fee for client referrals?
