McCartney: Beatles/iTunes Deal "Virtually Settled"

Looks like Apple Inc (the computer and iPod company) is finally settling their differences with Apple Corps Ltd (The Beatles’ company). No, really, this time it’s for real, because Paul said it.

In a Billboard.com interview on Friday, Paul McCartney said that a deal to put the famed group’s catalog on iTunes is “virtually settled.”

Meanwhile, McCartney himself is busy gearing up for the release of his new album, “Memory Almost Full.” The album is the first one by the veteran artist to be available for streaming and download on both mobile phones and PCs.
