CSUN Journalism Grad Heads to Big Sky Country
As an intern for KABC and then KCBS-KCAL, one of Mayra Castaneda’s responsibilities was to get B-roll from Los Angeles Lakers games and practices. Since on-air folks cannot always be present to interview the likes of Kobe and Pau, people like Castaneda fill an important gap.
In fact, after driving the 19 hours that separate LA from Montana to start her first post-graduation gig with the ABC-TV affiliate in Great Falls, Castaneda is hoping she can leverage her days with the purple and gold.
