Matt McAllester Leaves 'Newsweek' for 'Time'

Famed war reporter was there less than six months

There’s been another major defection from Newsweek and The Daily Beast. Matt McAllester, the Pulitzer Prize-winning war correspondent who joined Tina Brown’s NewsBeast in October as a senior editor, is jumping to rival Time magazine effective Jan. 30, Adweek has learned.
