Atlanta-based marketing & eCommerce focused agency Definition 6 has acquired NY-based PR agency Leach Communications, the company announced today. The move is aimed at positioning Definition 6 as a full service agency.

Alfred Leach, founder and president of Leach Communications, will lead Definition 6’s National Public Relations & Communications practice. Leach itself already offers diversified services including website design and development and advertising services.

Definition 6 founder and CEO Michael Kogon [pictured] said the expansion into PR enables the agency to tear down “the marketing and communications silos that confront traditional agencies and often impede their ability to deliver truly integrated solutions.”

Definition 6 was founded in 1997 and has worked with clients including La Quinta Inns & Suites, Coca-Cola, VeriFone, and Cox Enterprises, Inc. Leach Communications was founded in 2001 and has worked with clients including The New York Times, IMD Business School, China Telecom Americas, Enalasys and Fast Company.
