Mark Zuckerberg’s 2015 Personal Challenge: Putting the Book in Facebook

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is bringing the “book” to Facebook, announcing in a post on the social network that his “personal challenge” will be to read a new book every other week.

Zuckerberg also announced that he created the A Year of Books page as part of his effort, and that he will kick off his year of books with The End of Power, by Moisés Naím.

He wrote in his post:

My challenge for 2015 is to read a new book every other week — with an emphasis on learning about different cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies.

Thank you to all 50,000 of you in our community who gave me suggestions for different challenges.
