Here’s a little bit of inspiration for all you guys and gals who are trying to get those 6-pack abs before strutting your stuff on the beach this summer. Mark Malkoff, the comedian known for such stunts as living in an IKEA for a week, living on an AirTran jet for 30 days, and hitting up every single Starbucks in NYC in a single day is back with a new stunt. This time he challenged himself to get 6-pack abs in 30 days. Did he achieve the goal? You’ll have to read on and watch the videos below to find out.
Mark was inspired to embark on his 6-pack abs challenge because of all the men’s magazines featuring headlines like, “Get 6-Pack Abs Within 30 Days!” He wondered if it was really possible for a guy like him, that doesn’t really work out, to get 6-pack abs like Mark Wahlberg or The Situation within a mere month. He asked people on the street whether they thought it was possible. The consensus was “no,” but Mark decided to challenge himself anyway.
He hired a trainer, Robert Brace, who created the NY Lean 25 workout and got to work. He started a high protein diet (including 330 egg whites in a month!), cut out the sweets and worked out a lot. The results are pretty incredible. Did Mark reach his goal? Well…let’s just remember that this guy managed to live on an airplane for a full month and visit 171 Starbucks locations in a 24-hour period. What do you think?
