Good news for Margaret Sullivan fans (that includes us): She’s sticking to the media beat. Sullivan, who is about to end her brilliant run as The New York Times’ public editor, is joining The Washington Post as a media columnist.
In a note to readers, WaPo’s executive features editor Liz Seymour described Sullivan as “a superb journalist.”
“She is overflowing with story ideas about the rapidly changing media environment and has a broad mandate to cover media through a variety of formats, everything from a column to blog posts off the news to deeply reported stories,” added Seymour.
Sullivan will join WaPo later this year.
